We offer a very personal contact lens fitting service, which aims to suit each individual’s needs. We will take into consideration your particular social, financial and occupational requirements to supply the most appropriate lenses. During the initial clinical assessment, which is carried out with the latest equipment, we will decide if you are suitable to wear contact lenses. If so, you will be able to trial the appropriate lenses so that you can decide if they really do provide the comfort and clarity of vision which you require.
Being an independent practice we are able to source products from an unlimited range of suppliers to ensure we provide the most appropriate contact lenses for your needs.

Soft daily disposables |
Designed to be thrown away at the end of each day. Perfect for occasional sports or social wear. Available to suit most people and also now available with colours (limited prescriptions). |

Soft monthly disposables |
Replaced every month, these are the most economic lenses for people who want everyday wear. Standard monthly disposables must be removed at night and cleaned. |

Soft extended wear lenses |
Designed for 30 days continuous wear, these are the very latest in contact lens materials technology. Also extremely good for daily wear (removing at night) as these provide maximum oxygen supply to the cornea. |

Specialist lenses |
Clamp Optometrists can offer a range of bespoke lenses tailor made to the exact shape of your corneas. These are available in all prescriptions and most materials. Please ask for details. These lenses are usually replaced annually. |
