Clamp Optometrists were selected as one of four finalists in the category of Start-Up Practice of the year. A black tie event hosted by the comedian Harry Hill was held for all. Around 300 guests including leading figures from optometry, the professional associations, the industry and business, as well as other finalists attended. The Optician Awards are sponsored annually by the professional journal "The Optician" and demonstrate that innovation and new ideas are crucial to the development of the optics industry.
