WE CARE ABOUT
YOUR EYE CARE
Your child’s vision plays a vital role in how they see, learn, and explore the world, and at Clamp Optometrists we’re here to protect it with genuine care. We take the time to get to know each child, tailoring our approach so that every visit feels comfortable and reassuring. With a focus on both eye health and overall wellbeing, we provide attentive, professional care that supports your child’s vision at every stage of their growth.
From fun, colourful frames to advanced screening technology, we combine a friendly atmosphere with the very best tools to make eye care simple and positive. Our goal is to give you peace of mind and your child the confidence of clear, healthy vision—because their eyes deserve nothing less.
And while screens are part of everyday life, we encourage parents to help children take regular breaks, enjoy outdoor play, and keep screen time balanced—small steps that make a big difference to healthy eyes.
FAMILY
By combining advanced technology with a warm, approachable style, we make every visit a positive experience while giving parents the reassurance that their child is receiving the very best care.
ENVIRONMENT

Myopia is more commonly known as short-sightedness. Near objects are clear, but distant objects appear blurred. There is currently no cure for Myopia and until now, young adults and children with myopia have been dependent on spectacles or contact lenses to correct their vision.
For a comprehensive eye examination and a detailed assessment of your overall eye health, we recommend you allow up to an hour at Clamp Optometrists.
Additional to all the standard tests we have the very latest optical coherence tomography (OCT) equipment at our practice.
This allows us to acquire extremely detailed 3D images of various important structures such as the optic nerve and the macular area. Once acquired, we can then take follow-up scans at future appointments to monitor potential changes.
